Arkansas High School Basketball - Wynne knocked off by Baptist Prep
December 2, 2023: Little Rock, AR 72223 The Baptist Prep Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Wynne Yellowjackets to 36 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mayflower for a 3A Region 5 contest on Tuesday, December 5. Baptist Prep will battle a Eagles team coming off a 54-42 non-league win over Perryville (Perryville, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.
The Yellowjackets (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Manila (Manila, AR). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Manila was defeated by Brookland (Brookland, AR), 62-42, in a non-league contest.
