Arkansas High School Basketball - West Memphis edges Benton
December 2, 2023: Benton, AR 72015 The West Memphis Blue Devils (West Memphis, AR) basketball nipped the host Benton Panthers (Benton, AR), 27-25 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (5-3) will now prepare for their test against White Station (Memphis, TN). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, White Station got by First Assembly Christian (Cordova, TN), 44-43, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Sylvan Hills for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Benton will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 57-29 non-league loss to Bryant (Bryant, AR). The Bears record now stands at 1-2.
