December 2, 2023: Bettendorf, IA 52722 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bettendorf Bulldogs (Bettendorf, IA) and the visiting Jefferson Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA), saw Bettendorf's basketball squad hold off Jefferson by a tally of 47-40.
With the victory, Bettendorf improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Muscatine (Muscatine, IA) to play the Muskies in a Mississippi challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Muskies come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Hawks play the Linn-Mar Lions (Marion, IA) in a Mississippi Valley challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 51-41 non-league loss to Waukee (Waukee, IA).
