The Cannon Cougars basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Sun Valley Spartans to 24 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host United Faith Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Cannon will meet a Falcons team coming off a 39-34 non-league loss to Quality Education Academy (Winston-Salem, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 4-2.

The Spartans (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Mavericks go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record.
