Texas High School Basketball - Hudson nips Carthage

Hudson Hornets (Lufkin, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Carthage Bulldogs (Carthage, TX), 40-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hudson upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Hornets host Broaddus (Broaddus, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Broaddus lost 54-51 in their recent non-league bout against Hamilton (Hamilton, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Longview Lobos (Longview, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Carthage will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Lobos come into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 31-18 non-league loss to Brownsboro (Brownsboro, TX).
