North Dakota High School Basketball - Grand Forks Central holds off East Grand Forks
December 2, 2023: Grand Forks, ND 58203 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Grand Forks Central Knights (Grand Forks, ND) and the visiting East Grand Forks Green Wave (East Grand Forks, MN), saw Grand Forks Central's basketball squad hold off East Grand Forks by a tally of 64-58.
With the victory, Grand Forks Central improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Dickinson (Dickinson, ND) to confront the Midgets in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Midgets come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Green Wave confront the Barnesville Trojans (Barnesville, MN) in a AA Section 8 challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. East Grand Forks will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 64-42 non-league win over Wheaton/Herman-Norcross (Wheaton, MN).
