Illinois High School Basketball - Kankakee trounces Hillcrest
December 2, 2023: Country Club Hills, IL 60478 The Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) basketball crushed the host Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL), 50-12 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Kays (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Thornton (Harvey, IL). The Wildcats go into the Southland test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Thornton walloped Simeon (Chicago, IL), 46-40, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Island Eisenhower for a South Suburban - Red test on Tuesday, December 5. Hillcrest will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 62-12 league loss to Lemont (Lemont, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-4.
