California High School Basketball - Providence holds off Ramona Convent
December 2, 2023: Alhambra, CA 91803 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA) and the host Ramona Convent Tigers (Alhambra, CA), saw Providence's basketball squad hold off Ramona Convent by a tally of 38-32.
With the victory, Providence improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Hill (San Jose, CA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 4. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Hill lost 56-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Newark Memorial (Newark, CA)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Pomona Catholic Pacers (Pomona, CA) in a Santa Fe challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Ramona Convent will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Pacers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 48-31 non-league loss to Blair (Pasadena, CA).
