December 2, 2023: Upper St. Clair, PA 15241 The Union Area Scotties basketball team (New Castle, PA), was overwhelmed 60-24 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Upper St. Clair Panthers (Upper St. Clair, PA)
The Panthers now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Peters Township for a WPIAL 6A 2 battle on Tuesday, January 2. Upper St. Clair will confront a Indians team coming off a 55-46 non-league win over Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA). The Indians record now stands at 2-0.
The Scotties (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA). The Antelopes come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record.
