Washington High School Basketball - Wahluke tops Yakama Nation Tribal
December 2, 2023: Toppenish, WA 98948 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wahluke Warriors (Mattawa, WA) and the host Yakama Nation Tribal Eagles (Toppenish, WA), saw Wahluke's basketball squad knock off Yakama Nation Tribal by a tally of 68-52.
With the victory, Wahluke improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to White Swan (White Swan, WA) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 4. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. White Swan lost 44-36 in their recent non-league challenge against La Salle (Union Gap, WA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Sunnyside Christian Knights (Sunnyside, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Yakama Nation Tribal will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
