December 2, 2023: Spring Valley, CA 91978 La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mavericks confront the San Marcos Knights (San Marcos, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. La Costa Canyon will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record.
The Cougars now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Escondido for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 6. Steele Canyon will confront a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to El Camino (Oceanside, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-3.
