December 2, 2023: Burbank, CA 91506 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) and the visiting Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA), saw Burroughs's soccer squad get by Schurr by a margin of 2-1.
The Bears now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Glendale for a Pacific test on Tuesday, December 5. Burroughs will meet a Nitros squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA). The Nitros record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Schurr drops to 2-4 on the season. The Spartans host Arroyo (El Monte, CA) to meet the Knights in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. The Knights come into the test with a record of 3-0.
