Washington High School Basketball - Blaine trounced by La Conner
December 2, 2024: LaConner, WA 98257 La Conner Braves (LaConner, WA) fans went home pleased Monday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the visiting Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA), 48-27 in a non-league challenge.
The Braves (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Mount Vernon trounced Cedarcrest (Duvall, WA), 66-28, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Borderites encounter the Friday Harbor Wolverines (Friday Harbor, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 4. Blaine will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 57-35 non-league loss to Meridian (Bellingham, WA).
