Ohio High School Basketball - Butler bests Northmont
December 2, 2024: Vandalia, OH 45377 The Butler Aviators basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Northmont Thunderbolts to 36 in the Aviators non-league triumph on Monday.
The Aviators now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Fairborn for a Miami Valley - Scarlet game on Wednesday, December 11. Butler will confront a Skyhawks team coming off a 61-51 non-league win over Kenton Ridge (Springfield, OH). The Skyhawks record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Northmont falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts host Centerville (Centerville, OH) to confront the Elks in a Greater Western Ohio game on Wednesday, December 4. The Elks go into the game with a record of 2-0. Centerville won 67-49 in their recent non-league game against Bishop Hartley (Columbus, OH)
