December 2, 2024: Eastsound, WA 98245 Granite Falls Tigers (Granite Falls, WA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA), 16-4 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Granite Falls advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers host Bear Creek (Redmond, WA) to meet the Grizzlies in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. The Grizzlies enter the match with a record of 0-1. Bear Creek lost 30-12 in their recent non-league match against South Whidbey (Langley, WA)
The Vikings now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Baker for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 4. Orcas Island will meet a Mountaineers squad coming off a 53-31 non-league win over Coupeville (Coupeville, WA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-0.
