Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA), 56-16 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Leigh advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Cupertino (Cupertino, CA) to meet the Pioneers in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. The Pioneers enter the match with a record of 1-1.

The Vikings now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 4. Palo Alto will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 53-39 non-league loss to Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
