California High School Soccer - Providence held off by Pilibos

In Monday's non-league contest, the Pilibos Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) soccer team edged the host Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA), by a count of 2-1.

Next, the Eagles face the Le Lycee Lions (Los Angeles, CA) in a Liberty contest, on Friday, December 6. Pilibos will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Holy Martyrs Armenian (Encino, CA).

The Pioneers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Viewpoint (Calabasas, CA). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Viewpoint was nipped by El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA), 4-0, in a non-league contest.
