The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC) and the visiting Alamance Christian Warriors (Graham, NC), witnessed Union Grove Christian's basketball squad hold off Alamance Christian by a count of 41-40.

With the victory, Union Grove Christian advances its record to 9-4 on the year. The Patriots travel to Georgia Force Christian (Sugar Hill, GA) to meet the Blue Knights in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 4. The Blue Knights enter the battle with a record of 4-6. Georgia Force Christian won 58-47 in their recent non-league battle against Galloway (Atlanta, GA)

The Warriors now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thales Academy Flowers Plantation for a non-league battle on Friday, December 5. Alamance Christian will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 45-12 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The Vikings record now stands at 2-4.
