December 2, 2025: Amory, MS 38821 The Amory Panthers (Amory, MS) basketball toppled the visiting Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS), 54-44 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Okolona for a non-league test on Friday, December 5. Amory will clash with a Chieftains squad coming off a 59-42 non-league win over Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Chieftains record now stands at 3-1.
The Tigers (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Myrtle (Myrtle, MS). The Hawks come into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Myrtle overcame Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS), 50-33, in a non-league test.
