Arkansas High School Basketball - Batesville holds off Manila
December 2, 2025: Batesville, AR 72501 The Batesville Pioneers basketball team scored 37 points and limited the visiting Manila Lions to 36 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pioneers now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sloan-Hendrix for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9.
With the loss, Manila falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR) to clash with the Bobcats in a 3A Region 3 test on Tuesday, December 9. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 0-1. Walnut Ridge lost 63-31 in their recent non-league test against Westside (Jonesboro, AR)
