Brandeis Broncos (San Antonio, TX) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX), 53-51 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Brandeis advances its record to 7-2 on the year. The Broncos host Central Catholic (San Antonio, TX) to face the Buttons in a non-league match on Thursday, December 4. The Buttons enter the match with a record of 12-0. Central Catholic won 72-49 in their recent non-league match against Harlandale (San Antonio, TX)

The Raiders now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to San Angelo Central for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 4. Taft will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 64-63 non-league win over Wylie (Abilene, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-0.
