December 2, 2025: Flagstaff, AZ 86004 The Coconino Panthers basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Cactus Cobras to 61 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Thunderbird for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 3. Coconino will confront a Titans team coming off a 57-49 non-league loss to Tempe (Tempe, AZ). The Titans record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Cactus falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Cobras host Desert Sunrise (Maricopa, AZ) to confront the Golden Hawks in a non-league game on Thursday, December 4. The Golden Hawks go into the game with a record of 2-4. Desert Sunrise won 58-55 in their recent non-league game against Pueblo (Tucson, AZ)
