Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA) backers went home thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team smash the host Laurel Highlands Mustangs (Uniontown, PA), 74-36 in a non-league contest.

The Colts (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Plum (Pittsburgh, PA). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Plum was trounced by Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA), 90-61, in a non-league match.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yough for a non-league match on Friday, December 5.
