December 2, 2025: Abilene, TX 79605 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Estacado Matadors basketball team scored a close 72-65 win over the Cooper Cougars.
The Matadors (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Canutillo (Canutillo, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Canutillo was tipped by Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX), 36-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Cleburne Yellowjackets (Cleburne, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 4. Cooper will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a 4-5 record after their 53-49 non-league loss to Alvarado (Alvarado, TX).
