December 2, 2025: Hackberry, LA 70645 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hackberry Mustangs (Hackberry, LA) and the visiting DeQuincy Tigers (DeQuincy, LA), observed Hackberry's basketball team knock off DeQuincy by a score of 51-34.
The Mustangs (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, LA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Pleasant Hill prevailed over Rosepine (Rosepine, LA), 71-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Singer Hornets (Singer, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 5. DeQuincy will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 74-44 non-league win over East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA).
