Illinois High School Basketball - Urban Prep Academies nips Hansberry
December 2, 2025: Chicago, IL 60620 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Urban Prep Academies Lions basketball team scored a close 59-53 triumph over the Hansberry Bengals.
The Lions (3-0) will now prepare for their match against South Shore International (Chicago, IL). The Tars enter the Chicago Public - White South match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, South Shore International got by Chicago Tech (Chicago, IL), 29-28, in a non-league match.
The Bengals now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northridge for a non-league match on Friday, December 5. Hansberry will face a Knights squad coming off a 55-32 non-league loss to Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL). The Knights record now stands at 1-3.
