Holy Cross Knights (San Antonio, TX) backers went home thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Jefferson Mustangs (San Antonio, TX), 62-36 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Holy Cross upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Incarnate Word Academy (Corpus Christi, TX) to face the Angels in a TAPPS 4A District 5 match on Tuesday, December 9. The Angels enter the match with a record of 2-11. Incarnate Word Academy lost 48-42 in their recent non-league game against Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX)

With the loss, Jefferson falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX) to confront the Friars in a non-league game on Thursday, December 4.
