The Northwest Knights basketball squad (Cincinnati, OH), was nudged 55-51 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Monroe Hornets (Monroe, OH)

With the victory, Monroe advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Hornets host Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH) to meet the Golden Eagles in a Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern challenge on Friday, December 5. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Bellbrook lost 58-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Badin (Hamilton, OH)
