California High School Basketball - Pioneer knocks off South Hills
December 2, 2025: Whittier, CA 90606 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pioneer Titans (Whittier, CA) and the visiting South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA), observed Pioneer's basketball team overcome South Hills by a margin of 73-64.
The Titans (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Tarbut V' Torah (Irvine, CA). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Tarbut V' Torah defeated First Baptist (Long Beach, CA), 90-46, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Huskies battle the Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 5. South Hills will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 4-3 record after their 65-55 non-league loss to Salesian (Los Angeles, CA).
