In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Union Yellowjackets basketball team scored a close 58-56 win over the Raleigh Lions.

The Yellowjackets (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Noxapater (Noxapater, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Noxapater was tipped by Clarkdale (Meridian, MS), 44-35, in a non-league contest.
