December 2, 2025: Kress, TX 79052 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Kress Kangaroos (Kress, TX) and the visiting Christ the King Cathedral Golden Lions (Lubbock, TX), observed Kress's basketball team overwhelm Christ the King Cathedral by a score of 53-31.
The Kangaroos (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kelton (Wheeler, TX). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record.
In their next game, the Golden Lions battle the Holy Cross Crusaders (Midland, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, December 16. Christ the King Cathedral will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
