The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Grand Junction Tigers (Grand Junction, CO) and the host Rifle Bears (Rifle, CO), witnessed Grand Junction's basketball squad hold off Rifle by a count of 50-44.

With the victory, Grand Junction advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Golden (Golden, CO) to meet the Demons in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 4. The Demons enter the battle with a record of 1-0. Golden won 46-27 in their recent non-league battle against Lakewood (Lakewood, CO)

The Bears now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Basalt for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 4.
