The Thornton Trojans basketball squad (Thornton, CO), was crushed 55-22 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO)

With the victory, Legacy advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lightning travel to Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 3. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
