Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN) and the visiting South Dearborn Knights (Aurora, IN), witnessed Rising Sun's basketball squad hold off South Dearborn by a count of 56-50.

With the victory, Rising Sun advances its record to 2-5 on the year. The Shiners travel to South Ripley (Versailles, IN) to battle the Raiders in a non-league contest on Friday, December 5. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 6-2. South Ripley won 60-41 in their recent non-league contest against North Decatur (Greensburg, IN)

In their next game, the Knights battle the Ludlow Panthers (Ludlow, KY) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 3. South Dearborn will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record.
