Washington High School Basketball - Selkirk holds off Valley Christian
December 2, 2025: Ione, WA 99139 The Selkirk Rangers basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Valley Christian Panthers to 44 in the Rangers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rangers now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Wellpinit for a 1B Northeast game on Saturday, December 6. Selkirk will confront a Redskins team coming off a 54-9 non-league loss to Oakesdale (Oakesdale, WA). The Redskins record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Valley Christian falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to St. George's (Spokane, WA) to confront the Dragons in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 3.
