Texas High School Basketball - Iola topped by Chavez
December 20, 2021: Houston, TX 77017 The Chavez Lobos basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Iola Bulldogs to 54 in the Lobos non-league victory on Monday.
The Lobos now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Worthing for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 21. Chavez will battle a Colts team coming off a 56-48 non-league loss to Dayton (Dayton, TX). The Colts record now stands at 2-7.
The Bulldogs (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Caldwell (Caldwell, TX). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Caldwell prevailed over Hearne (Hearne, TX), 46-38, in a non-league contest.
