Iowa High School Basketball - Prairie City-Monroe overwhelms East Marshall
December 20, 2021: Monroe, IA 50170 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) and the visiting East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA), saw Prairie City-Monroe's basketball squad wallop East Marshall by a tally of 67-30.
With the victory, Prairie City-Monroe improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Roland-Story (Story City, IA) to confront the Norsemen in a Heart of Iowa - Large challenge on Tuesday, December 21. The Norsemen come into the challenge with a record of 5-0.
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels (Reinbeck, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - West challenge, on Friday, January 7. East Marshall will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record.
