The Northwood Falcons basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Mansfield Wolverines to 57 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Monday.

The Falcons now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North DeSoto for a 4A District 1 contest on Tuesday, January 4.

The Wolverines (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Woodlawn-Shreveport (Shreveport, LA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Woodlawn-Shreveport Carroll (Monroe, LA), 45-45, in a non-league contest.
