Oregon High School Basketball - Waldport overwhelms Mapleton
December 20, 2021: Waldport, OR 97394 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Waldport Irish (Waldport, OR) and the visiting Mapleton Sailors (Mapleton, OR), saw Waldport's basketball squad wallop Mapleton by a tally of 51-19.
With the victory, Waldport improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Irish travel to Western Christian (Salem, OR) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 27. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 7-1.
Next up, the Sailors confront the Myrtle Point Bobcats (Myrtle Point, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 21. Mapleton will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 60-58 non-league loss to Lakeview (Lakeview, OR).
