Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Muncy can't hold off Southern Columbia Area

The Southern Columbia Area Tigers basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Muncy Indians to 58 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hughesville for a Heartland III contest on Wednesday, December 22. Southern Columbia Area will battle a Spartans team coming off a 59-25 league win over Warrior Run (Turbotville, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-1.

The Indians (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Montgomery (Montgomery, PA). The Red Raiders enter the Midd-Penn contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Montgomery was nudged by South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA), 71-52, in a league contest.
