Kansas High School Basketball - Beloit can't hold off Riley County
December 20, 2021: Beloit, KS 67420 The Riley County Falcons basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Beloit Trojans to 36 in the Falcons non-league victory on Monday.
The Falcons now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Creek for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 4. Riley County will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 48-29 non-league win over Wabaunsee (Alma, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-0.
The Trojans (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Phillipsburg edged Plainville (Plainville, KS), 71-10, in a non-league contest.
