Kentucky High School Basketball - Holy Cross knocked off by Larue County
December 20, 2021: Louisville, KY 40216 The Larue County Hawks basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Holy Cross Cougars to 47 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Monday.
The Hawks now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bullitt Central for a non-league contest on Monday, January 3. Larue County will meet a Cougars team coming off a 47-31 non-league win over Russell County (Russell Springs, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 7-1.
The Cougars (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Portland Christian (Louisville, KY). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Portland Christian ran past Louisville Saints HomeSchool (Louisville, KY), 60-19, in a non-league contest.
