Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Belleville East Lancers (Belleville, IL) and the visiting Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL), saw Belleville East's basketball squad wallop Althoff Catholic by a count of 78-50.

With the victory, Belleville East upgrades its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Granite City (Granite City, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 22. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Granite City lost 42-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Madison (Madison, IL)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Rockford East E-Rabs (Rockford, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Althoff Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The E-Rabs come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 76-42 league win over Freeport (Freeport, IL).
