Virginia High School Basketball - Durango holds off Bishop O'Connell
December 20, 2022: Arlington, VA 22213 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Durango Trailblazers (Las Vegas, NV) and the host Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA), saw Durango's basketball squad hold off Bishop O'Connell by a tally of 68-67.
With the victory, Durango improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Trailblazers travel to Liberty (Henderson, NV) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 21. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Liberty lost 69-68 in their recent non-league challenge against Kell (Marietta, GA)
Next up, the Knights confront the St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Bishop O'Connell will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 54-51 non-league win over Putnam City West (Oklahoma City, OK).
