Kentucky High School Basketball - Burgin can't hold off Frankfort Christian Academy
December 20, 2022: Frankfort, KY 40601 The Frankfort Christian Academy Royals basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Burgin Bulldogs to 62 in the Royals non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Royals now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frankfort for a District 41 contest on Wednesday, December 21. Frankfort Christian Academy will battle a Panthers team coming off a 71-67 non-league win over Model (Richmond, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 4-2.
The Bulldogs (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Black Devils come into the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Robertson County was nudged by St. Francis (Louisville, KY), 63-48, in a non-league contest.
