Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY) and the host Hopkins County Central Storm (Madisonville, KY), saw Butler County's basketball squad overcome Hopkins County Central by a tally of 74-60.

With the victory, Butler County improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Cooper (Union, KY) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Cooper won 71-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Knox Central (Barbourville, KY)
