Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats (Cedar Bluffs, NE) and the visiting Dorchester Longhorns (Dorchester, NE), saw Cedar Bluffs's basketball squad hold off Dorchester by a tally of 28-26.

With the victory, Cedar Bluffs improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Mead (Mead, NE) to confront the Raiders in a D1 District 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 6-0.

Next up, the Longhorns confront the Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets (Grand Island, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Dorchester will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Red Hornets come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 46-44 non-league loss to Harvard (Harvard, NE).
