California High School Basketball - Coronado nips Mount Miguel
December 20, 2022: Spring Valley, CA 91977 Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA), 69-62 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Coronado upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Islanders travel to Point Loma (San Diego, CA) to play the Pointers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Pointers go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Point Loma won 61-45 in their recent non-league bout against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA)
Next up, the Matadors play the Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 21. Mount Miguel will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Monarchs go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 61-45 non-league loss to Point Loma (San Diego, CA).
