Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team achieve victory over the host Nocona Indians (Nocona, TX), 47-38 in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now possess a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cole for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 28. Decatur will confront a Cougars team coming off a 68-28 league win over Luling (Luling, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 7-10.

The Indians (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Celina (Celina, TX). The Bobcats come into the non-league battle with a 11-7 record.
