Maine High School Basketball - Falmouth knocked off by South Portland
December 20, 2022: Falmouth, ME 04105 The South Portland Red Riots basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Falmouth Navigators to 39 in the Red Riots non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Riots now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thornton Academy for a AA South contest on Thursday, December 22. South Portland will battle a Trojans team coming off a 65-55 league win over Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME). The Trojans record now stands at 3-0.
The Navigators (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Brunswick (Brunswick, ME). The Dragons enter the A South contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Brunswick was defeated by Freeport (Freeport, ME), 43-33, in a league contest.
